In 2019 Doranova completed the largest direct injection project in Finland and won two other major in situ remediation projects.
– 2019 was the first year Doranova was able to capitalize on the fruits of the recent years’ product development projects in full force, tells Doranova’s CEO Antti Myllärinen.
– The DoAct® CORE remediation platform has been widely applied for several years now but 2019 was the first full year Doranova utilized its recently developed DoAct® DIRECT injection solution in its remediation projects, Myllärinen continues.
– DoAct® DIRECT is a direct push injection solution that uniquely combines drilling and injection even in rocky areas. With DIRECT we can process more ground in a day than with any other solutions, says Doranova’s Head of Soil and Groundwater Remediation Solutions Perttu Mattila.
Doranova also won two other large scale in situ remediation projects in 2019. One of the project sites is contaminated with chlorinated volatile organic compounds and will be remediated with the modular DoAct® CORE system. The other site has tetra- and trichloroethylene contaminations and will be treated with thermal desorption. In this project Doranova is cooperating with the Danish company Krüger Veolia.
