Doranova remediates contaminated soil in Tampere, Finland (Sep 23, 2011)

Doranova uses biological and chemical in situ methods to remediate contaminated soil at an old industrial site in Härmälänranta, Tampere. During dozens of years of industrial operations contaminants such as fuel oil, heavy metals and PAH compounds have polluted soil at the site. Industrial buildings will be deconstructed and the area will be transformed to a residential area by the year 2020. It will take approximately two years to remediate the site to secure a comfortable living area for the future citizens.
